Il nuovo progetto di Sos Bahini sta prendendo forma. Si tratta di una " Coffee andTea house" con servizio di ristorante e pasticceria, che, oltre a funzionare come "Bahini Cafè" vero e proprio e aperto al pubblico, svolgerà anche funzione di centro di addestramento per ragazze con una età tra i 16 e 22 anni.

Il Bahini Cafè avrà un orario di apertura dalle 8.00 del mattino alle 16.00.

Avrà un menù con cucina internazionale e pasticceria, sarà un locale per non fumatori e non servirà alcolici. Abbiamo affittato i locali in cui verrà aperto il "Cafè" nella zona turistica nelle vicinanze del lago.

Nei mesi di marzo/aprile 2010 inizieremo l'addestramento delle prime ragazze e contiamo di aprire al pubblico nel mese di Ottobre 2010.

L'addestramento riguarderà : cucina, pasticceria, servizio e amministrazione, una volta formato il primo staff e aperto il "Cafè" saremo in grado di iniziare i corsi di formazione per altre ragazze fino ad un massimo di 18. Ovviamente sarà data priorità alle ragazze che sono già sotto l'ombrello protettivo di Sos Bahini, ma se si verificasse l'opportunità di accogliere altre fanciulle in difficoltà e desiderose di accedere ai nostri corsi di formazione, ne saremo lieti.

The Bahini Café and training Centre will serve as"Ecole Hoteliere" were young women from the age group 16 to 22 will undergo job training.We will be offering an all-round training comprising cooking, baking, serving and managing were by each of these formations will take six months. After two years our trainees should be accomplished all-rounder's in the restaurant/catering sector. 

The Café-Bakery will have opening times from 8:AM to 6:PM .International cuisine and pastry will be served in style and in a pleasant, appealing setting . It will be a non-smoking area and no alcoholic beverages will be served. Six month courses will be offered for all those who want to be trained in a single profession only.We will be able to offer training to a maximum of 18 trainees at a time and this in order to assure personalized and quality training. We will give priority to girls who are under the umbrella of SOS Bahini but we will also reach out to the most underprivileged young women in the slums or those living under similar conditions.This is a project in progress. A suitable place in a good location in Pokhara's tourist area "Lake-side" has been rented and we are planning to start the training by March/April 2010. By fall 2010 our trainees should be ready and we will open the "Bahini-Café&Bakery" to welcome local and international customers.
